Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has set new timings for the three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and as many Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) against India. The series, which was forced to be postponed by five days due to COVID-19 instances in Sri Lanka's camp, will now begin on July 18. Rather than starting at 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM, Shikhar Dhawan and his teammates will face Sri Lanka at 3 PM and 8 PM.
The BCCI and SLC both confirmed on Saturday that the series has been postponed due to COVID-19. Two individuals from the Sri Lanka group including batting mentor Grant Flower tested positive for COVID-19 after their get back from England. The whole England crew must be isolated because of 7 COVID cases in the camp.
